Profile: Paddy Wallace has played most of his career at fly-half but has been overlooked on the international stage mostly for Ronan O’Gara and David Humphries. He was part of Ireland’s successful U19 side, which lifted the World Championship in 2009. After making his Test debut as a replacement against South Africa in November 2006, he started in his first Test against the Pacific Islanders two weeks later and scored 26 points in the match. Wallace was part of the RWC squad in 2007 but only made one appearance as a replacement against Namibia. He played in four Tests during the successful Six Nations campaign in 2009 and could start at 12 this year in New Zealand.
